I asked for help twice and both times the staff acted like I was annoying them. They just kept walking off like it wasn’t their problem. the service was useless and they’re the reason I won’t be going back.

"Promo and price match left me confused"
I tried using their promo along with a price match, i still wonder if I misunderstood something because every staff member seemed to tell me something different. The promo suddenly “didn’t apply” at checkout, and then the price match was turned down for a reason that wasn’t really clear. Maybe I missed some fine print, but it felt like a lot of back and forth for nothing. I ended up wasting time and just buying it somewhere else.

I tried placing an order online, the checkout process was frustrating. It was slow, clunky, and just didn’t feel very user-friendly. You’d think paying for an order would be the simple part, but it ended up taking more effort than it needed to.

"Website was a total pain to use"
I tried to buy a fridge, but the website kept freezing and randomly sending me back to the beginning. The filters were frustrating, checkout was really slow, and the stock info didn’t even match what my local store had. After about 20 minutes I just gave up. For such a big shop, it was a “awful” experience...

I’m still waiting on my refund, and it’s getting annoying. I get that processing times can vary depending on the bank or the situation, but in my case it feels like it’s taking way longer than it should.

I had an installation scheduled, but the installer never showed up. No call, no update, nothing. I kept waiting around and trying to figure out what was going on, but it felt like nobody cared or was even paying attention to my appointment. Really frustrating experience.
"A simple return turned into a runaround"
I bought an item from The Good Guys thinking it would be an easy fix if anything went wrong, but when it turned out to be faulty, that’s when the headache started. I took it back to the store expecting someone to sort it out, only to be told I needed to call online support instead.
So I called online support, explained everything again, and then they told me I had to go back to the store. By that point I felt like I was stuck in a loop, repeating the same story to different people who didn’t seem to know what the process was. It took way too long just to get a basic answer, the whole experience put me off buying from them again

I waited around all day for the delivery, and it never showed up. No call, no real update, and the tracking just kept changing. It’s not even about the delay as much as the fact that nobody let me know what was going on. Super frustrating, and I still don’t have my fridge

"Delivery was a mess, honestly"
The fridge showed up in rough shape, dents on it, packaging all ripped up like it had been knocked around. The driver basically just dumped it there and told me to call support, which wasn’t exactly helpful. I get deliveries can go wrong, but come on, this was not good enough

"Delivery was slower than I’d expect"
I ordered online figuring it would show up within a few days, but it ended up taking a lot longer than I’m really okay with. I don’t expect everything to arrive overnight, but I do like to at least have clear updates, and the tracking barely changed the whole time. The product itself was fine once it finally got here, but the waiting and not knowing what was going on was frustrating.

I ordered a specific kettle, but the one that arrived was a completely different model. The invoice had the right item listed, but the box definitely didn’t match, if that makes sense. Customer support took a while to respond, and I still had to follow up myself to get it sorted. Just a frustrating experience overall.

"I had a look at The Good Guys..."
I had a look at The Good Guys for a few appliances, but the prices weren’t anything special. I found the same items cheaper at other stores quickly. Even with their so-called deals, it still didn’t really feel worth it. I also got the sense that my questions about price matching or better options were kind of brushed off, which didn’t help. I expected them to be more competitive, but they just felt overpriced. Probably won’t be the first place I check next time.

I tried paying twice, and both times the checkout just sat there spinning like the little Wheel of Failure, then dumped me back like nothing happened. To make it better, my card ended up with pending charges too. Support was basically the Helpfulness Prevention Team, so yeah, annoying experience overall.

I went in to ask a few basic questions about a fridge, and the staff just seemed completely clueless. One guy told me one thing, then someone else came over and said the opposite, so I’m standing there like, great, does anyone here actually know what they’re talking about? Total waste of time. I ended up looking everything up on my phone myself, which is ridiculous when you’re about to spend that much money

"Stopped working after a week"
I only had this for about a week before it quit working. It feels cheaply made, and I wish I had been more careful before buying it. I’d probably avoid this one if you’re trying not to waste your money.
